Field Trip

The Preschool kids went on a field trip this month to the Tokyo Toy Museum in Yotsuya. The building used to be an elementary school but they transformed it into the toy museum. There were a lot of hands on things that the kids (and adults) could do. It has a hit for all.

Our Garden (After)

God gave us just the right amount of sunlight and just the right amount of rain so have been able to enjoy fresh fruits, vegetables and flowers. We are still waiting on the watermelon but the plant looks like it is going to bear fruit as well. Thank you God.

Our Garden (Before)

Last year we planted a few tomato plants and the children really enjoyed picking and eating the tomatoes that they planted. This year we got a little braver and planted flowers as well as eggplant, tomatoes, cucumbers, strawberries and watermelon.

Father's Day

Moms weren't the only ones to have a good time. We didn't leave the dads out. For Father's day the children made a craft with their fathers and we played balloon volleyball. Balloon volleyball was really a hit.

Mother's Day

We had a Mother's Day event on Saturday, May 8th for the morning program. The children and their mommies decorated flower pots together. Happy Mother's Day to all of the moms at We Go Eigo.

Lei Day

Lei Day

May 1st is Lei Day in Hawaii and schoolchildren put on Hawaiian performances. Candice taught the children a couple of hula which they performed then the parents joined in as well. As you can see we even had a couple dads join in the fun.

Sleepover and Camp

The preschool aged children had the sleepover and the elementary aged children had a camp at Hikawa Campground in Okutama. We do this every year and some of the kids have joined us 4 years in a row. It is usually a little chilly as we go in the spring but everyone always seems to have a great time.

Sleepover and Camp

We had a sleepover at the school for the morning kids as well as the preschool aged afternoon kids. We played games, sang songs, made a craft and watched a DVD. I think the children all had a good time.

Up-to-Date

Things have been busy and we haven't updated for a bit. It is hard to believe that the first three months of the school year have come and gone. To bring you up to date here are some pictures of things that have been going on separated by categories. Enjoy
