Christmas Play

Today was our Christmas Play "Immanuel". The kids did a great job. I am so proud of them. The moms helped out by making the costumes. Thank you everyone for all of your hard word, we are so grateful.

Play Preparations

As we get ready for the play tomorrow, it's looking less like a school and more like a studio.

Christmas Party

We had our Christmas party for the kids today. The children played carnival type games, we read a story about the first Christmas and ate some cake. People from the church came to help as well as people from the church in Tokorozawa. Thank you guys for all of your hard work.

Christmas Caroling

Today the morning kids went down to Fuchu Station for Christmas Caroling. We got red parkas for the event. The wind was pretty chilly but the kids did a great job.

Holiday Prep

We have quite a few events lined up for the kids for Christmas so they have been very busy getting ready. They are really working hard.

New Teachers

Rusty (no picture yet, stay tuned) and Amber Spearman have come from America via Okinawa as missionaries for the church in Tokorozawa. As our school enrollment has grown quite a bit, they are helping us out here as well. They are both doing a great job and the kids love them both.

Thanksgiving

We didn't take the Thanksgiving holiday off at the school, instead we decided to invite the kids and their families to a Thanksgiving lunch. We barbecued a turkey and had a potluck lunch. The weather was really beautiful so the kids had a chance to play in the sandbox outside.

We're Back

Sorry for neglecting the blog. We are back in action. In order to try to get things up to date we will go back to the Sports Day that we had this past fall. The kids as well as the parents got involved. I think everyone had a great time.
